Chris Brock, PLA, ASLA
Principal | Landscape Architect
Raised near the Indiana Dunes along Lake Michigan, Chris developed an early connection to natural landscapes—an influence that continues to inform his work today. Early experience working on farms and alongside landscape crews gave him a practical understanding of how landscapes are built, maintained, and often mismanaged—shaping a design approach grounded as much in performance as aesthetics.
He is a licensed landscape architect in Florida and Indiana with more than 20 years of experience spanning design studios and hands-on construction. He has led the design and implementation of residential estates, resorts, and commercial landscapes across diverse climates, including projects in Anguilla, Maui, and Nevis. Notable work includes:
Malama Aina Rooftop Garden — Four Seasons Maui
Eden Garden — Paradise Beach Nevis
Villa 1719 — Four Seasons Nevis
After more than a decade living and working in Hawaii and the Caribbean, Chris has developed a specialization in climate-responsive, low-maintenance landscapes that balance luxury with ecological performance. His work emphasizes planting design, natural materials, and long-term durability—ensuring landscapes mature gracefully rather than decline over time.
Outside of his professional work, Chris continues to refine his ideas through hands-on experimentation in his own garden, applying the same principles of durability, plant performance, and low-maintenance design. Living in Northeast Florida with his wife and two children, he brings a personal understanding of how landscapes are actually used—creating spaces that support daily life, foster connection, and deepen people’s relationship with nature.
